Song Bin was born in 1979 in Langzhong, Sichuan Province. He studied at the Central Academy of Fine Arts from 2002 to 2006 and graduated with a BFA. From October 2008 to June 2011, he studied at EcoleSupérieureD'Artet de Design de Marseille-Méditerranée and gained a DNSEP.
